Alphabet Song Chart 26 A4 Full-Color Cards

This gorgeous Alphabet song was a favorite of my kindergarten/reception children. The pictures are full-color, just gorgeous, and easily recognizable for young children.

Looks wonderful on display as a classroom Alphabet Chart and is a fantastic resource to sing the Alphabet Song with your children. Sung to the tune of ‘Skip to my loo’……. My eight year old still likes to sing it on long car trips.

This version has been updated to be more politically correct and to make sense. Therefore, there are no Indians itching or kings kicking kettles or jelly beans jumping, instead, this version has ‘in the icy igloo’, ‘koala and kangaroo’, and ‘jumping the jump rope’. Most of the other words are the same. I know you’ll love this updated version.

Fantastic for reinforcing letter-sound knowledge in a fun way. We would sing it every day when introducing new letter sounds or in the five minutes wind down before going out to play. Would also be great for use in childcare/early learning centers. Most suitable for pre-school, kindergarten/reception, and lower primary grades. I can also alter the font to suit your state, just express your requirements at checkout. Thanks!

Set of Five For learning and revision of high-frequency words

The ‘Rainbow Word Wall Climb Games, One to Five’ are designed to provide essential practice in the recognition of the first 100 ‘high-frequency’ words.

These games teach children to recognize the most common words quickly, painlessly, and with fun. They can then begin to read more easily.

Many of these words cannot be sounded out, so they need to be learned as “sight words”. Children who learn these words will have a sound base for beginning reading.

It is estimated that the 25 most common words make up about 30% of what we read. And the 100 most common words make up about 50% of what we read. As children learn these words their confidence as readers greatly improve simply because they can recognize at least half of the words on the page.

These games allow children to learn these essential words in a fun way.

These games could be the best investment you ever make for your children.

Each game can be played by 2-6 players.

Player One takes their turn to roll the dice. Player One must read the ‘sight word’ that they land on. If the player cannot read the word they must go back to where they moved from. ‘Move ahead’, ‘Go back’, and ‘Roll again’ spaces add the element of chance to the game. Play continues with the next player in turn until one player lands on or passes ‘Finish’ and is declared the winner.

They can then play again with the next board!

Fantastic for use during rotations in the morning literacy block! Suitable for all Junior Primary levels of schooling.

Purchase this unique teacher resource and your class can be practicing their sight words in a fun way in just a few short days!

Thanksgiving Day tips

It’s true that Thanksgiving preparations require some time and you probably will feel tired when the party begins. But let’s see this rush as compensation for the rest of the year when we are more sedentary than we should be.

One of the most pleasant activities for Thanksgiving Day is decorating the house. It might be a little tricky and requires some time and effort but after you see the home ready for the party you won’t feel any tiredness. It’s rather easy to decorate for Thanksgiving. You can make a gorgeous centerpiece using items you find in the house and funny Thanksgiving cards that everybody could see and read. Use a basket filled with fallen leaves, gourds, Indian pinecones, corn, corn husks, and place mini pumpkins around it. You can also use these things to decorate your home. A few well-placed autumn decorations will set the mood for Thanksgiving and will be a great addition to your living room.

Make sure you have clearly marked cards for each person at the table, so they will know where to sit. Also, be sure to leave enough room on the table for all your dishes. It’s a good idea to keep some extra chairs if any uninvited but desirable guest arrives. Another useful tip: place your guests regarding their sympathy one for each other and the things they have in common. That’s available for a big family, with all sorts of relationships and ages.

Thanksgiving must be a great day and nobody should be upset or tired. Let the exceptions happen very rarely and not into our families. Have a nice Thanksgiving!

Planning the Seasons cards

Planning and preparing Thanksgiving dinner can be a little challenging, especially for a large family that also expects the evening a considerable number of guests. In order to make Thanksgiving more enjoyable for anyone but for the housewife in the first place, planning the activities which must be done until a certain date can improve many delicate moments. Thanksgiving Day should be stress-free and some technology can make wonders. For instance, why bothering sending the greetings for Thanksgiving, when a little program can do it for you? Schedule your greetings to be sent at a certain date and select the funny Thanksgiving cards for every recipient.

Instead of spending precious time writing greetings on cards and going to the postal office, you can send online cards that are more beautiful, more practical, and way more interesting than the classic ones. Choose the funny e-cards this Thanksgiving and things will be easier for you around these days!

Courage for expressing deep feelings in 2020

For this year’s Thanksgiving, making a warm greeting to each family member would be a really nice gesture. I know that we’re not used to doing verbal declarations, but sometimes this will help us and our close ones to get along better and to share wonderful moments at the Thanksgiving table.

Give thanks to your spouse for being near to you and to children, without who life would be just empty. Give thanks to your friends who are always beside you. Don’t forget to give thanks to your parents and grandparents who taught you valuable lessons and gave precious advice for your own good. Let’s give thanks to our colleagues who are fair to us and always offer a helping hand. We don’t have to forget the good neighbors, even the assistant from the store we shop daily.

If we’d afford a couple of hours at Thanksgiving to show our gratitude towards all these people using the free Thanksgiving cards, we’d be spiritually enriched and we’d take a step forward in all the relationships we developed. Let’s do this, at least for a year!
